LUN’s Litter Free Lowry Program Kicks Off on Earth Day – April 22

A cleaner, greener Lowry is coming. Lowry United Neighborhoods (LUN) is launching Litter Free
Lowry, a new community-driven program where neighbors partner with neighbors to keep our
streets, blocks and parks litter-free.

Our Litter Warriors have already identified 25 high-priority routes where trash tends to collect.
This initiative builds on the efforts of dedicated residents who have long been picking up
litter—now with a coordinated focus on high-traffic and highly used areas.

How It Works:
✅ Adopt an Area – Choose a section of Lowry to help keep clean.
✅ Total Flexibility – Pick the time, frequency, and method that works for you.
✅ Walk with Purpose – Stay active, connect with neighbors, and improve our community.
✅ Get Equipped – LUN provides safety vests, pickers, and collection bags/buckets.
✅ Recycle Responsibly – We’ll encourage smart recycling practices.

Join the Movement
We’ll kick things off on Tuesday, April 22 (Earth Day!) with a special launch event—details to
come. If you’d like to join the effort with a friend, reach out to Denny Head.

Contact Denny Head at 303-886-3512 or dehead1@comcast.net  to get involved and be a part of the program’s launch.

Together, we can make Lowry cleaner, greener, and an even better place to live!
