Help Launch LUN’s New Volunteer Program to Keep Lowry Litter-Free

Are you interested in helping to keep Lowry litter-free?

LUN’s Litter Free Lowry program launches on April 22, 2025, in celebration of Earth Day, and we
need YOU to help make a difference! This exciting program brings neighbors together to create a
cleaner Lowry while enjoying the benefits of exercise, social connections, and a shared sense of
purpose.

Why Join?

  • Walk with a Purpose: Partner with a neighbor or friend to adopt a 1-2 block cleaning route
and turn your walks into meaningful action.
  • Get Active: Enjoy the health benefits of walking while improving our community.
  • Build Connections: Meet new people, strengthen friendships, and work together toward a
    cleaner, greener Lowry.

The Challenge
While many parts of Lowry are well-maintained, some areas—like high-traffic streets, retail zones,
parks, and sports fields—still see daily litter. This program expands the efforts of dedicated residents
already making a difference and brings our community together to tackle the issue.

Next Steps
Help us shape this program by joining our next organizational meeting on January 20, 5:30 to 7:00 p.m. Together, we’ll create a flexible, engaging program that fits your schedule while promoting pride in our neighborhood.

Contact Denny Head at 303-886-3512 or dehead1@comcast.net for meeting location and to get involved in the program’s launch.

Get Involved – Make a Difference

LUN’s Litter Free Lowry Program is a perfect way to get outside, get active, and contribute to something truly impactful. By participating, you’ll help enhance the beauty of our streets, parks, and public spaces, making Lowry an even more inviting place to live.

Let’s walk, connect and keep Lowry beautiful – one step at a time!
