Townhall Meeting with Mayor Mike Johnston

Mayor Mike Johnston will be hosting two town halls in District 5 within the next week. The topic of these meetings will be his emergency declaration on homelessness. I encourage all residents to attend these meetings and to share your thoughts with the Mayor and his team.

This is an initiative of the new Mayor, not a City Council initiative, so I will not be in attendance at these meetings; however I think it is important that District 5 residents have their voices heard. The details of those meetings are:

• Saturday, August 5th at the Montclair Recreation Center from 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.

• Wednesday, August 9th at George Washington High School from 4:00 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.
