The Silver Ropes Volunteers have one more Food Bank volunteer session before taking off the summer. Please sign up work with your neighbors to help serve those in need.

Together the Lowry Foundation Silver Ropes Volunteer team has dedicated over 1,000 hours of service since the start of 2023, significantly impacting our community. A total of 236 individual volunteer work sessions accomplished this amazing feat.

Let’s give a special shout-out to our top 10 dedicated volunteers who have gone above and beyond. Carol Dietz, Denny Head, Rick Dietz, Barbara DeSarro, Susan Robinson, Robi Hyman, Kathy Head, Mark DeSarro, Janet Britton, and Ginger McLaughlin, your 114 individual sessions and 400 hours of support have made a world of difference to the Lowry community.

On May 9,14 volunteers worked at the Food Bank of the Rockies, sorting produce and water for distribution to the local food banks. They sorted nearly 13,000 pounds of produce, equal to over 10,500 meal equivalents along with 28,000 pounds of fresh food (boxes of apples and cantaloupe and bags of potatoes and onions) that were assembled on 28 pallets. The silver rompers included Rick Dietz and Sloan, Michael Deitz and Jim Lusche.
