African Caribbean Dance Party with Artie Thompson
Artie Thompson was born and raised in Minnesota. She was a member of the Uchawi African Dancers and Musicians, a popular Afro-Caribbean dance troupe in the 70’s & 80’s, that performed in the five state area of the upper Midwest. She is a seasoned actress, choreographer and dance instructor who has worked with people of all ages. Her passion is sharing this expressive form of movement with everyone whenever and wherever possible.
The beauty of this movement is the Spirit and Soul of the person gives and brings life to the steps. An expression unique to the individual moving.
