Return the joy your tree brings you over the holiday season by giving it a new lease on life. Recycle your holiday tree by dropping it off at one of our collection sites. Do you have broken, burned-out or impossibly tangled sets of holiday lights stored away with last year’s holiday decorations? Don’t throw them out – recycle them for free instead! Last year, Denver recycled 4,352 lbs. of holiday lights. Accepted for Drop-off are light strings and wires for incandescent, LED, and “icicle” lights. Attached bulbs are okay. Learn more here.
