Lowry Foundation: First Annual Fourth of July Parade and Festival
July 1 @ 9:00 am - 12:00 pm
The Lowry Foundation and the Hangar Club present, in partnership with LUN and sponsored by the Lowry Community Master Association, are throwing Lowry’s first Fourth of July Parade and Festival on Saturday, July 1, 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at Great Lawn Park, Lowry Boulevard and Yosemite Street. Brunch food and drinks will be available for purchase, and one can enjoy live music while picnicking in the grass.
This fun-filled, family-oriented event is sure to bring smiles to faces of all ages. As part of the celebration, we have organized various activities. There will be a one-mile community procession (aka parade without spectators) around Great Lawn Park with participants wearing costumes, riding decorated bikes, pulling decorated wagons, pushing decorated strollers, and/or walking costumed dogs. Prizes will be awarded for the best costumes and decorations.
