Councilwoman Amanda Sawyer: Spring Parks Clean Up Day

Volunteer here to help keep our District 5 parks beautiful. CW Sawyer will be providing bagels and coffee for participants.

On April 30, volunteers may meet at the Montclair Recreation Center to gather supplies. My office will be providing bagels and coffee there as well. Supplies include two pairs of gloves, two trash bags, and four dog waste bags. If you’d like to bring your own supplies as well, please do so! Thank you and see you on April 30!

All volunteers will be required to sign a waiver.

For the safety and health of everyone please:

• Stay home if you have any cold or flu-like symptoms, including a fever, cough or shortness of breath.
• Wear sunscreen.
• Dress appropriately for the weather.
• Wear sturdy footwear (no open toe shoes).
• Wearing a hat is recommended.
• All children must be supervised.
• Do not bring pets.
