LUN and CCNNA join for the 20th Annual Salvation Army Toy Sorting Event

This holiday season, volunteers are making Christmas a little brighter for children who might
otherwise go without. LUN is working with neighbors from the Cherry Creek North Neighborhood
Association (CCNNA) and Lowry United Neighborhoods (LUN) to join in this meaningful
tradition, ensuring kids in need across Denver wake up to the magic of Christmas morning.
For 20 years, this toy-sorting effort has been a testament to the power of community and
generosity. It began in Cherry Creek North and expanded to Lowry in 2018, growing into a
tradition that brings neighbors together to spread joy and hope to families struggling to make
ends meet.

The Salvation Army works tirelessly to bring smiles to children who might not receive anything
else this Christmas. Volunteer time and effort directly supports this important mission, making a
profound difference in the lives of those who need it most.
