The intersection of eastbound 6th Avenue and Syracuse was dangerous because it lacked a stop sign on the right-hand shoulder of 6th. Many cars were not stopping because they did not notice the stop sign on the median side. I received complaints from several neighbors in Lowry that they were involved in a near crash.

Myself and another LUN Board Member called and posted on 311 about this issue more than once. A couple months ago, Denver DOTI did place a new stop sign on the right-hand shoulder. Moral of the story is please do go to Denvergov.org and post an unsafe traffic situation, graffiti, leaking city irrigation, abandoned car and other issues.
Or you can call 311 and talk to a real person and tell them of your concern. (Streetlights that are not working should be reported to Xcel Energy by posting online or by calling.)
Councilwoman Sawyer and the LUN Traffic and Safety Committee ask you to please go to 311 with your concerns.
It can make a difference!
