2025 District 5 Fall Community Clean-up Day 

Our neighborhoods are cherished places, and we want to keep them beautiful! That’s why Councilwoman Sawyer has created District 5 Community Clean-up Day, which is a unique opportunity for community members to come together and contribute to the beautifcation of our city. Below is a list of parks, open spaces, and RTD bus stop benches that we need your help sprucing up.

Please review the available slots below and click on the button to sign up. You are more than welcome to sign-up to clean a park and re-paint a bus stop! Volunteers must meet at the Montclair Recreation Center at 8:30 a.m. the day of the event to grab supplies. Breakfast, coffee, and juice will be provided.

The District 5 Council Office will provide these supplies for those cleaning our parks:

• Gloves
• Hand sanitizer
• Dog waste bags
• Bottle of water
• Trash bags

The District 5 Council Office will provide these supplies for those re-painting bus stops:

• Bottle of Water
• Gloves
• Hand sanitizer
• Rag
• Sand Paper
• Spray Paint
• Trash bags

For the safety and health of everyone, all volunteers are asked to please:

• Clean and sanitize tools.
• Wear sunscreen
• Dress appropriately for weather
• Sturdy footwear (no open toe shoes)
• Hat is recommended
• All children must be supervised
• Do not bring pets
• Your clothes may get stained so please dress appropiately!

Remember that bus stop benches are on or near private property, so please be respectful. Thank you for volunteering your time to help keep our community a wonderful place to live. We can’t wait to see you on September 28th!
