DESCRIPTION:Wings celebrates Childhood Sexual Abuse Awareness Month (CSA-SAM)\, every September. \nIn Person 5k & Virtual Month-Long “Race” & Fundraising Opportunity \nIn Person Race Details \nThis September\, Wings will host its annual Race for Healing in person on September 9th\, 2023\, at Great Lawn Park in Denver\, CO. Wings’ Race for Healing is a movement for healing\, voice\, and empowerment. This event brings us together as a community to stand up for adult survivors of CSA and encourage one another to engage in activities that promote healing. We believe the path to healing is unique for each person and can be amplified by being in community. \nDay of in person race schedule: \n8:00 – Registration Opens \n8:25 – Bilingual Yoga provided by Buffalo + Sparrow Yoga Collective \n8:45 – Announcements \n9:00 – Race Kick-off! \n9:45 – Awards Ceremony \n10:30 – Wrap up race / Closing Remarks \nThroughout the duration of the race\, there will be community partners present for those interested in learning more about Wings’ partners in this work & those that support the vision of: Healthy lives\, relationships and communities – for all. \nRegistration Platform
