SUMMARY:Townhall Meeting with Mayor Mike Johnston
DESCRIPTION:Mayor Mike Johnston will be hosting two town halls in District 5 within the next week. The topic of these meetings will be his emergency declaration on homelessness. Councilwoman Sawyer encourages all residents to attend these meetings and to share your thoughts with the Mayor and his team. \nThis is an initiative of the new Mayor\, not a City Council initiative\, so Amanda Sawyer will not be in attendance at these meetings; however she feels it is important that District 5 residents have their voices heard. The details of those meetings are: \nThe second one is: \n\nWednesday\, August 9th at George Washington High School from 4:00 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.
